About the event

what if

What if artificial intelligence, combined with social media, fueled by vast amounts of data and manipulated by people with their own agendas, became too smart and too powerful?

What if, having exhausted all other options, the only way to have your own child was using embryos – your embryos – altered by somebody trying to genetically engineer the perfect child?

What if your job was threatened by the advent of new technology and you had to fight for your right to work – for the livelihoods of you and your closest friends?

What if, in a fairytale world, a device allowed its owner to hear where other people's cakes are kept, and what if the device malfunctioned in the hands of the greedy?

What if a time machine backfired, sending well-meaning scientists hurtling into one of the most famous and most sinister witch hunts in history?
